A small hand-carved relief of a serene, downcast Buddha face with the classic spiral curls across the brow. The deep espresso-brown finish is dusted with gold flecks that catch the light, and the sculpted features give it a calm, grounded presence. A brass-tone wire hanger is attached and ready for the wall.
Sammy’s Styling Suggestions: Hang it solo in a quiet corner, a bathroom, or an entry, or use it as an anchor on a gallery wall of natural textures. The dark finish looks great against light plaster or warm-toned paint.
Approximate Dimensions: 4.5 × 7 inches, about 1 inch deep
Material: Carved wood with a dark stained finish
Style: Southeast Asian-style Buddha face relief
Condition: Wear consistent with age, with a rough-hewn top edge, small chips at the lower corners showing raw wood, and light surface wear (see photos)
Mounting: Brass-tone wire hanger attached at the top, ready to hang on a nail or hook
Every rescued piece has a past. Rescued and repurposed with care. These vintage finds are a beautiful way to tread lightly on the earth while bringing character and longevity into your home.
